How much is a wedding venue in Croatia? Read our directory and find out!
Today, we will be discussing the question the cost of wedding venues in Croatia.
Pricing questions are naturally, the first question we get asked, and the answer is never simple.
It’s hard to put an unique price tag on venues in Croatia, because the cost depends on so many factors.
One of the biggest factors that will make a difference in how much is a wedding venue in Croatia going to cost you is the region you choose for your wedding.
Croatia consists of several regions, and in the wedding industry we approach them a bit differently then we would if we were teaching Geography.
The regions you will probably learn about are:
Dubrovnik and it’s surrounding towns and islands
The Dalmatian coast
Istrian region
Cost of wedding venues in Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is by far the most expensive region in Croatia to get married at.
The value for money is here (can we actually put a price tag on a wedding in Kings Landing?), but this is a piece of information to keep in mind.
For venues that charge rental (not all do) you can expect to pay between 3.000,00 eu to 30.000,00 eu in Dubrovnik.
Venues you can expect to pay the rental fee are usually the historical ones owned by the city of Dubrovnik, but it’s not a rule.
A lot of historical venues will require you to book additional catering services, and if a venue doesn’t have a rental fee you will still need to think about the menu and drinks prices.
The average Menu price in Dubrovnik is between 150,00 eu p/p – up to 300,00 eu p/p for fine dinning. The price would be around 200,00 eu.
The average drink package price depends on how many drinks you want included, is it an open bar etc. Also some menu offers already have a basic drink package included.
For a wedding in Dubrovnik you can expect to pay between 90,00 eu p/p up to 150,oo eu p/p for drinks (in case they aren’t included in the menu offer)
Cost of wedding venues in Split
Cost of wedding venues in Split and nerby towns is a bit lower then in Dubrovnik region.
But also, it is more diverse in a sense that Split offers a lot of different venues.
A tavern venue for example won’t cost the same as a historical venue.
You can expect to pay the rental venue fee in Historical venues, and in Villas, while in Taverns and Restaurants you mostly won’t have a venue rental fee.
The cost of venue rentals in Split ranges between, 500,00 eu up to 12.000,00 eu. The average price however, would be 5.000,00 eu
Villa Dalmacija, by far the most popular wedding venue in Split will cost you 5.500,00 eu for rental

How much is a wedding venue in Croatia if I am looking into the Istria region?
In the region of Istria, you will find some of the most expensive venues, but also some of the most affordable ones.
This sounds a bit contradicting, but I’ll explain.
If you’re looking into a luxe heritage hotel in Istria, you will need to do the bookout first.
After the bookout of the rooms (some examples would be San Canzian and Meneghetti), you can expect to pay around 150,00 eu p/p for dinner, and around 100,00 eu for drinks (depending on what and in what quantity you would like, this price can go lower). Keep in mind these places offer a fine dinning experience.
You can read more about San Canzian here: https://www.croatiaweddingplanner.com/san-canzian/
On the other hand if you’re looking into a Villa/b&b/tavern you can expect to pay from 80,00 eu p/p for food and 70,00 eu p/p for drinks.
How much is a wedding venue in Croatia in less popular places?
If you look a bit outside off Dubrovnik, Split and some of the more popular places in Istria you can expect to save 10%-20% on your venue.
Places like Šibenik, Zadar, and surrounding smaller towns and villages, can give you some out of the box options.
Not all of these options are super cheap, but some are cheaper then the similar venues in ,ore popular places.
